In 2022 I joined Gusto as a design lead on on the Members team overseeing the Employee experience across web and our mobile apps.
In 2021 I joined Wealthsimple, a Canadian fin-tech company who offers powerful financial tools to help you grow and manage your money. During my time at Wealthsimple I've worked on KYC, Onboarding and Platform initiatives like messaging and pricing & subscriptions.
In 2019 I transferred to the Uber Eats team to join the Merchant team focusing on Marketing and Ads. We’re responsible for creating marketing and ad products for our merchants to create campaigns to grow their store. This includes product such as promotions, loyalty programs and ads.
During my time on the Uber Money team I focused on payments experiences for drivers all over the world. Most notably I worked on the Cash team helping design experiences for cash payments and collections in markets like Brazil, Mexico and India.
I began my YouTube channel in 2019 as a way to teach design to the next generation of designers. Today it has a little over 70,000 subscribers! My channel focuses on product design and user research. This has been a fun and rewarding side project as I've been able to connect with designers all over the world and help them grow in their design career.
Design Life is a podcast about design and side projects for motivated creators. It was born after my host Charli Prangley and I, two serial side project addicts, saw a gap in the podcast market for a conversational show about design and the issues young creatives face, that was hosted by two women.
My design career started when I joined the startup Atomic, who was building a design and prototyping tool. During my time there I helped manage the Atomic design community by running events, meetups and creating video training and educational materials.
